Having been raised in Malheur county, I appreciate this small arid community.
I received my BS from Brigham Young University and then did my graduate studies at Eastern Oregon University and Boise State University. In the classroom I strive to create a positive learning environment, giving all students the opportunity to develop their abilities to read and think critically, and to write with clarity. I look forward to helping your students develop the skills necessary to be highly successful in whichever field they pursue.
The freshman curriculum teaches the skills of reading, writing, speaking, language use, and vocabulary development. Core readings include: Romeo and Juliet, The Giver, and The Odyssey, along with short stories, poetry, and non-fiction from the adopted anthology.
