PRINCIPAL

It is an honor to work for our kids and the community of Nyssa. I have truly enjoyed my life in Nyssa as a student, parent, teacher, coach, and administrator. The students inspire me everyday to do my best. It is my privilege be surrounded by other caring and committed people who truly do all they can to ensure the success of each student that attends NSD.

I strive to make learning and teaching more rewarding by providing the support and structure needed for each student and staff member to succeed. Creating a school climate that is based on trust, respect, collaboration, and communication is critical. I know that my job is important and I approach it everyday knowing that I have to move our school forward regardless of the events that transpire. Keeping everything on track in a world where everything is subject to change is seldom easy. There are easier places to work than the Nyssa School District, but this isn’t a job to me. This is my home, this is my family, and that changes everything.
