We had an amazing time at our Book Bingo! Our students left with big smiles and lots of books to read at home. Elementary -- On Friday, January 24th bus #8 will have a delay in the PM route, due to a lack of drivers due to athletic trips, etc. Students will wait at the school for their bus to pick them up. This will cause a 30 minute delay for students to get home on bus route #8. Our Lego Robotics Teams competed in the state competition on Saturday in Hillsboro. One team received the Breakthrough Award. This award celebrates a team that made significant progress in their confidence and capability in both the Robot Games and Innovation Project and are a shining example of excellent Core Values. Elementary -- We had a lockdown drill at 9:30 AM. Again this was just a drill and all students and staff did a great job practicing lockdown procedures. We will be having a Fire Drill this afternoon at 1:30 pm. Again these were both drills to meet our monthly practice obligations. Primaria: Tuvimos un simulacro de cierre a las 9:30 a.m. Nuevamente, esto fue solo un simulacro, y todos los estudiantes y el personal hicieron un gran trabajo practicando los procedimientos de cierre. Quarter 2/Semester 1 has officially ended today! Report cards will be sent home next week. Please keep an eye out for them, and don't hesitate to contact your student's teacher or school if you have any questions. Elementary -- Outdoor School Parent Meeting- The meeting will take place Tuesday, January 7 in Mac Hall from 5-6 p.m. Families are strongly encouraged to attend and bring the 5th grade student in their household. We had a special visitor today for our last day of school! We hope everyone has a wonderful Winter Break! The 3rd-5th Grade Dance Team, led by Mrs. Burbank, had an awesome and fun performance yesterday at the Elementary Awards Assembly and the High School basketball game. Our 3-5 Grade Dance Group performed at both of the Assemblies yesterday, December 17th. Thank you Mrs. Burbank for your hard work and dedication to bring dance to our students!

The Elementary School had a fantastic turnout and so much fun at their Ornament Night! Families enjoyed free book giveaways, read-alouds, hot chocolate, and, most importantly, the opportunity to have fun and get creative together. Thank you to everyone who attended and to those who helped at the event! ¡La Escuela Primaria tuvo una participación fantástica y se divirtió mucho en su Noche de Adornos!
