We wanted to shout out and share what our Nyssa BPA Production Team created! They made an awesome video, with help from our community, on the topic "Farm to Table," showing how sugar beets become sugar. They placed 1st in the state and are now headed to Nationals in Orlando! With support from Amalgamated Sugar, they’re fundraising by selling 4lb bags of sugar. If you’d like to support the team, please email Mrs. Long at along@nyssasd.org to purchase bags. Hicieron un excelente video, con la ayuda de la comunidad, con el tema "De la granja a la mesa", mostrando cómo los betabeles se convierten en azúcar. ¡Obtuvieron el primer lugar a nivel estatal y ahora se dirigen a la competencia Nacional en Orlando! We want to give a big shoutout to three outstanding Nyssa High School students — Ana Trinidad, Cristian Carrillo, and Lesly Blanco Hernandez — who earned scholarships from TVCC and The College of Idaho after attending the Hispanic Healthcare and Technology Careers Conference! Congratulations! ¡Queremos dar un gran reconocimiento a tres estudiantes excelentes de la Preparatoria de Nyssa — Ana Trinidad, Cristian Carrillo y Lesly Blanco Hernandez — quienes recibieron becas de TVCC y del Colegio de Idaho después de asistir a la Conferencia de Carreras en el Cuidado de la Salud y Tecnología para Hispanos! ¡Felicidades!
