Reminder for Community Service Hours

Our Nyssa High School took 30 students to the BPA State Leadership Conference. Eight students placed in the Top 10 and four qualified for Nationals. Our high school has now won Video Production two years in a row! We are proud of what our students were able to accomplish.

Nuestra Preparatoria de Nyssa llevó a 30 estudiantes a la Conferencia Estatal de Liderazgo de BPA. Ocho estudiantes se ubicaron entre los 10 mejores y cuatro calificaron para Nacionales. ¡Nuestra preparatoria ahora ha ganado Producción de Video dos años seguidos! Estamos orgullosos de lo que nuestros estudiantes pudieron lograr.

Today our migrant students had the opportunity to tour TVCC and attend the Spring Youth Institute. They learned about important college resources and explored various CTE programs through hands-on activities. Thank you, TVCC, for the opportunity!

Jazmin Pascacio, a former Nyssa Bulldog, is currently running college track for the College of Idaho. She and her teammates are leading a free running program for K–8 students. We’d love to see some Nyssa Bulldogs out there participating and supporting one of our own!

Jazmin Pascacio, exalumna de Nyssa , actualmente compite en atletismo universitario para el College of Idaho. Ella y sus compañeras de equipo están liderando un programa gratuito de correr para estudiantes de K–8. ¡Nos encantaría ver a algunos Bulldogs de Nyssa participando y apoyando a una de las nuestras!

Sensory Fair at NES - see attached flyer

We will be having a College Fair/FAFSA Night Monday March 9, 6:00-7:30 PM in the Nyssa High School Library & Foyer. All 8 Oregon Universities will be represented! The evening includes a presentation on the benefits of attending college, college representatives from all 8 Oregon Universities, FAFSA support, pizza, and door prizes. Grab a friend and come on over, or just stop by after practice.
