Congratulations to Margarita Sotelo! She is the winner of the Nintendo Switch drawing from the College Fair and Health Expo held during parent teacher conferences. Thank you to all students and families that participated and attended this event.

Thank you to all the organizations that attended our Fall 2024 College Fair and Health Expo. We appreciate the information and support given to our Nyssa students and their families. If you missed this event, we will be doing it again next year in the fall!

NHS Families: Parent teacher conferences are this week. Quarter one report cards will be available in the main office. Teachers will be available in their classrooms during the following times: Wednesday 5-8pm & Thursday 8:00-12pm, 1-4pm, & 5-8pm. We look forward to seeing you at conferences!

Here are some great upcoming things happening at NSD.
1. October 15th- Joleen Reece Court Dedication during the volleyball game (7pm)
2. October 17th- Homecoming Parade (around 2:40pm)
3. Also October 17th- Pumpkin Fun Day at the Elementary for all NSD families/students (5 to 7pm)
4. October 18th- St. Alphonsus' Mobile Mammogram Bus will be at the School District. Call 208-367-8787 to schedule an appointment or for questions. You will need your insurance card and photo ID the day of your appointment (there are income-based grants and a self pay discount)
5. October 23rd- Nyssa HOSA is sponsoring a fall blood donation drive. Signup at redcrossblood.org (use zip code 97913)
