Nyssa High School Families, Parent Teacher Conferences will continue tomorrow Thursday 10/25/2023 from 8:00-12:00, 1:00-4:00, and 5:00-8:00. Conferences are required for all students. We look forward to seeing you! Please also remember that OTI for students needing help is each Tuesday-Thursday from 3:30-4:00 and evening math tutorials are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:00-8:30.

Due to a shortage of officials the girls soccer game for today 10/20/23 has been moved to 4pm.

Students and parents gathered at the Nyssa Migrant Preschool classroom to learn about and participate in activities designed to increase students' mathematical awareness. Migrant School Readiness Specialist Tere Ley conducted the event along with classroom teachers Rosalie Marvin and Diana Monroy.

Dear Nyssa High Class of 2024 Seniors and Parents, This coming Wednesday, October 18th is an important graduation order day for the Senior Class of 2024. Orders for your Nyssa High Cap & Gown, Graduation Announcements, Graduation Ring, Letter Jacket and other graduation related items need to be ordered at this time. Seniors attended a special graduation orientation meeting last Thursday, October 11th in the auditorium where they were given information regarding graduation, ordering their Cap & Gown and other graduation related items. New this year, we are changing to a new two-color combination, blue and white graduation gown. Please make sure you order on time. Using past gowns or colors will not be accepted. Please make sure to get your order in by the deadline to assist with the new items being done this school year. If you missed the graduation meeting, extra graduation packets are available in the main school office. Please see Holly Kenyon for a graduation packet. Only TWO students have signed up so please have them sign up through their student emails by end of day on Monday, October 16. (Wednesday, October 18th - Idaho-Oregon Border College Fair at the Four Rivers Cultural Center in the afternoon - sign ups will be in your email)

We will have Parent/Teacher Conferences October 25th and October 26th. The times may vary but we are currently looking at 10/25 5pm to 8pm and 10/26 8am to 8pm with breaks for lunch and dinner. Everyone is asked to attend and the class that has the most parents come in receives an extra long lunch.
