Parents of Nyssa High School Graduates, our graduating seniors are required to attend school tomorrow at 9:00 am for the graduation rehearsal, a senior parade through each school, and their final checkout. On Sunday graduating seniors should be at the school at 10:30 and remain until the graduation ceremony. Thank you! The Nyssa School District 26 is seeking to fill a SCHOOL BOARD POSITION The term for this position ends June 30, 2027. Candidates must be 18 years or older, qualified to vote, be a resident of the Nyssa School District for at least one year and not be an employee of the School District. Friends of JustServe, Global Youth Serve Day and Community Serve Day are coming up next week, and I just wanted to make you aware of some service opportunities that are available. There is a big need for volunteers to help in Nyssa. Youth Groups would be wonderful and could help out on Wednesday evening. I know a lot of youth groups meet on Wednesday night. It would also be a great opportunity for Families and individuals as well. An idea of a couple projects that need volunteers are, Pulling weeds and Spreading bark at Nyssa City Hall and the Library. Help is needed Saturday morning at 8:00 am to put in Frisbee Golf at the South Park in Nyssa. They will also be serving a continental breakfast there that morning and assigning people projects.Please let your school groups, congregations and youth groups know of this opportunity.
