Good Morning,
The Nyssa School District is once again collecting Toys for Tots applications for the community. We will be hosting an application sign up event today from 11 am - 1 pm at the District office. You can also sign up anytime at the Elementary and Middle School before December 1st. We are also available for late evening sign ups until December. Thank you.

Nyssa High School Families: Our Varsity Football team will be playing their first round state playoff game Friday at 8:00MST (7:00 PST) against Rainer in Kelso Washington. Nyssa High School Families: Parent teacher conferences are today and tomorrow. Teachers will be available in their classrooms during the following times: Wednesday 4:30pm-8:30pm; Thursday 8:00am-11:00am; Thursday 2:30pm-5:00pm; and Thursday from 6:00pm-8:30pm. Due to OHA and ODE regulations masks are required while at conference. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Nyssa High School Families: We have had a great homecoming week. Thank you for your support during the parade! Soccer games start at 1:00 today. Football is tonight against Vale at 7:00pm. The Homecoming Dance is tomorrow at 8:00pm in the Nyssa Middle School cafeteria. Let's cheer our athletes on to victory while also being a role model of good sportsmanship. It is a good day to be a Bulldog! Be Nyssa, Be Proud, Be One!!
Nyssa High School Families: As part of our homecoming activities this week, we will be having a homecoming parade tomorrow October 22 from 11:40 to 12:06. The parade will leave the high school and go down Adrian and Main street and then return to the high school on Good Avenue. We welcome anyone who would like to watch and cheer on our NHS students.
Las familias de Nyssa High School: Como parte de las actividades de homecoming, tendremos un desfile mañana el 22 de octubre de 11:40 a 12:06. El desfile saldrá del high school y va por las calles de Adrian and Main Street y regresa a la escuela por la Avenida Good. Todos los que quieren mirar y apoyar a nuestros estudiantes están invitados.
NHS Fans: We appreciate all those who attend our sporting events. We need your help with ensuring that as a group we show good sportsmanship at all home and away competitions. Please be encouraging not negative, fair not foul, and supportive not harassing so that everyone can continue to enjoy athletics. It is important that we support the officials even when we don't agree and are always positive role models for our youth. Those who can not maintain sportsmanlike conduct may be required to leave or be banned from future events. We greatly appreciate your help!
NHS Families: There will be a Dual Language parent meeting Thursday, October 7th, at 5:00 pm in the Nyssa Middle School Commons. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss plans for the Dual Language program as it moves through NMS and into NHS.
