Friends of JustServe, Global Youth Serve Day and Community Serve Day are coming up next week, and I just wanted to make you aware of some service opportunities that are available. There is a big need for volunteers to help in Nyssa. Youth Groups would be wonderful and could help out on Wednesday evening. I know a lot of youth groups meet on Wednesday night. It would also be a great opportunity for Families and individuals as well. An idea of a couple projects that need volunteers are, Pulling weeds and Spreading bark at Nyssa City Hall and the Library. Help is needed Saturday morning at 8:00 am to put in Frisbee Golf at the South Park in Nyssa. They will also be serving a continental breakfast there that morning and assigning people projects.Please let your school groups, congregations and youth groups know of this opportunity. Congratulations to Anthony Arizmendi, son of Gloria Sotelo and Everardo Arizmendi, and Erwin Trinidad Cervantes, son of Eliazar and Josefina Trinidad, who signed their letter of intent to play soccer in the fall of 2024 for Treasure Valley Community College.
